Girbau Boats unveils the new G31 at the Cannes Yachting Festival
Girbau Boats proudly presents the all-new G31: an evolution in design, efficiency, and comfort. The renowned artisanal shipyard from the Costa Brava brings to market a vessel that redefines the standard of Mediterrenan inboard boats with a completely renewed design, premium finishes, and a bold commitment to technology and onboard well-being.
With an overall length of 9.42m, a beam of 2.95m, a draft of 0.85m, and a maximum displacement of 5,700 kg, the G31 represents the natural evolution of the current G30 and stands as a new benchmark within the yard’s mid-size motorboat range, which also includes the G28, G30, and G38. Born from Mediterranean tradition and driven by a passion for innovation, this model is designed to deliver a comfortable, efficient, and forward-looking navigation experience — seamlessly blending technical innovation with refined aesthetics.
Inside and out, the G31 showcases a new design with a fully reimagined deck and furnishings. Its sleek, more fluid lines create a contemporary and elegant profile, while staying true to Girbau Boats’ distinctive identity. The layout has been carefully rethought to optimize space, particularly in the aft area and cabin, offering enhanced livability and greater functionality.
The structure has been optimized with an infused hull — a cutting-edge technology that reduces weight, boosts fuel efficiency, and enables higher cruising speeds, all while ensuring a safer and more stable ride. Comfort takes center stage, with an enlarged and more versatile swim platform, new high-performance upholstery that balances comfort and durability, and superior finishes that celebrate the yard’s artisanal heritage. With a fuel capacity of 2 tanks x 270 liters, a freshwater tank of 117 liters, and a blackwater tank of 56 liters, the G31 is built for long days at sea with excellent autonomy. It accommodates up to 10 people on board and is certified Category B.
The integration of smart, intuitive systems allows seamless control of the boat’s main functions — lighting, batteries, air conditioning, and more — both from mobile devices and onboard screens. The G31 will be available in single or twin YANMAR 4LV engine configurations, with 230 HP or 250 HP options, and can be equipped with advanced features such as a gyroscopic stabilizer, air conditioning, generator, and the latest navigation systems, tailoring each unit to the unique needs of its owner.
