Greenline Yachts is preparing a major presence at the world's largest in-water boat show, the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show (October 30 – November 3). With no fewer than four of Greenline’s innovative hybrid models on the water, it will be a real showcase of the Slovenian yard’s capabilities. Show-goers will be able to see and experience all but one of the full Greenline range, plus a long list of popular options to enhance the yachting experience.

Visitors can find Greenline Yachts at G Dock 715-717, where the Greenline 39, Greenline 40, Greenline 45 Fly, and Greenline 48 Fly will be waiting alongside. Exhibiting many of the different layouts available, including both the flybridge and the sleek coupé design, each of these yachts embodies Greenline’s commitment to responsible yachting, featuring the latest in hybrid technology.

“Greenline Yachts is excited to be back in Fort Lauderdale, where it has enjoyed so much success in the past,” said owner and CEO Vladimir Zinchenko. “The American market has long appreciated the user-inspired features that make Greenline yachts so livable, not to mention the potential for silent electric operation. And this year, there is a stronger incentive than ever to join the Greenline family, as Washington state is waiving sales tax on new hybrid yachts. That could mean savings in excess of $100,000 for smart buyers.”

6G Hybrid:

Greenline Yachts has been a pioneer in hybrid marine technology since 2008, combining electric propulsion with conventional diesel power to maximize efficiency and minimize noise. At the heart of today’s lineup is the innovative new 6th Generation Hybrid Drive, part of a cutting-edge power management solution that seamlessly blends solar energy, shore power, and a diesel engine.

With the 6G H-Drive, Greenline boats can instantly switch between electric and diesel modes. In electric mode, you enjoy the serenity of near-silent cruising for up to 20 nautical miles - perfect for peaceful coastal journeys or quiet anchorages. For longer adventures or when higher speeds are required, the diesel engine efficiently powers the yacht while recharging the batteries, ensuring no energy goes to waste.

This system is available across Greenline's entire range of yachts, from 39ft to 58ft, offering a more sustainable way of yachting. In fact, real world testing shows that the 6G H-Drive can reduce the carbon footprint of using a Greenline yacht by up to 40%. Whether you’re navigating in electric mode or relying on diesel for extended range, the system delivers an unmatched balance of efficiency and performance, making every voyage a responsible choice for the environment.

“Greenline’s patented 6G H-Drive offers a significant advantage, especially when compared to the competition. But it’s not just about the hybrid system—since 2008, every Greenline yacht has come standard with our highly efficient diesel engines, a solar roof, and a lithium battery bank. This setup allows you to power all on-board appliances without ever needing a generator, making it as close to emissions-free as possible. The configuration is also ideal for regions where 24/7 air conditioning isn’t necessary, offering a quiet and eco-friendly experience,” said CCO Luca Raumland.  “However, we noticed that many of our clients still preferred a backup generator, specially where air-condition is needed, so we knew we had to take things to the next level. To ensure our standard, non-hybrid Greenlines are also generator-free, we’ve spent the past year testing a solution that combines our hybrid battery technology with upgraded alternators. Today, we can confidently say that this setup eliminates the need for diesel generators—even for those who want to run air conditioning!

Starting in 2025, this will become the new standard across our entire fleet as part of our ongoing commitment to responsible yachting and reducing emissions in everyday operations.”
