Milestone at Linssen: 600th motor yacht rolls off log I production

Linssen Yachts, European market leader in the 9-16.50m displacement motor yacht segment, builds its motor yachts on three production platforms: the Logicam production. In the 9.70-10.70m segment (30-35 feet, Logicam I), the 600th yacht came off the 'line' just before BOOT Düsseldorf: the Linssen 35 SL Sedan - 75 Edition.

With a commitment to craftsmanship and innovation, Linssen Yachts has constantly strived to deliver timeless designs with high-quality materials and advanced and practical technology to its customers. The Logicam production lines have played a crucial role in realising this vision since its inception in 2006, allowing the company to optimise production efficiency in integral quality improvements. At the time, production started with the Grand Sturdy 29.9 (introduced at the end of 2004) and then the 33.9; both available in AC with aft cabin and Sedan with open cockpit. These yachts have evolved over the years into the current modern line of motor yachts.

In addition to the Logicam I line, the 12.85 -13.98 m (40-45 ft) yachts are built on Logicam II and the Linssen-Variotop yachts are built on the Logicam III line.

Flow production
All platforms are characterised by 'flow production' with tact times where the yachts slide through the halls to the next workplace. Each workplace is characterised by specific activities such as engine room, prefab, interior and finishing In this way, Linssen builds around 70 motor yachts every year.
