January 9, 2020 (EDENTON, NC) – Regulator Marine today announced the launch of the second boat in the company’s new XO Series of center console crossovers – the Regulator 24XO – and answered the call of XO fans with the addition of a Yamaha XF425 engine option on the popular 26XO. The XO Series has quickly gained a following for its “go anywhere, do everything” attitude and ability to navigate lakes, bays, and skinny waters, as well as head offshore when the time is right.

“We are so excited to introduce a new member of the XO family!” said Regulator Marine President and Co-founder Joan Maxwell at the launch in Edenton. “The XO Series has not only fulfilled demand from our existing customers but also opened new markets for us on the lakes, bays and bayous of America. Our XOs are all about fun, and our design and engineering team has really outdone themselves delivering the expanded deck space, fishing features, family amenities and overall quality Regulator is known for.”

Hull number one of the 24XO was virtually unveiled in a Facebook and Instagram Live launch from the Regulator factory today, and the boat will have its physical debut at the Progressive Miami International Boat Show on February 13. Fulfilling the XO promise of versatility and adventure, the 24XO features abundant deck space, forward and aft casting platforms, standard livewell, and in-deck fishbox. The hull’s 16-inch draft, moderate deadrise, optional hydraulic jackplate and Minn Kota trolling motor make shallowwater maneuvering easy for fishing or sandbar fun. Equipped with a standard Yamaha F250 or optional F300, factory-installed Garmin® electronics, and signature Fiberglass T-Top with Integrated Wraparound Windshield, the 24XO is ready for all day play.

The updated Yamaha XF425 engine option on the 26XO will also debut at the Miami Boat Show, with a special press conference and tour hosted by Joan Maxwell taking place on February 13 at 9:30am in the Regulator booth on Pier 4. Regulator dealers are now taking advance reservations for XO sea trials following the Show.
