Sirena Yachts reports steady progress on the Sirena 118 superyacht
Sirena Yachts is pleased to share a new construction update on the Sirena 118, the 36-metre composite superyacht that marks the beginning of the shipyard’s larger-size GRP line. With the first hull advancing steadily at the brand’s facility in Yalova, Turkey, the project continues to progress toward its scheduled launch in 2026.
Designed by Sirena’s in-house team with naval architecture by Germán Frers, the Sirena 118 brings together efficiency, space and a clean contemporary style. Cor D. Rover signs an interior that can be tailored to the owner’s taste, combining quality materials with plenty of natural light for a calm, elegant atmosphere on board.
Significant progress across key build areas
Major technical and interior milestones have moved forward in recent months as the yacht enters the next phase of construction.
Lower-deck furniture production has been completed, with assembly to follow in the upcoming stages.
Insulation, plumbing, piping, panel placement, cable routing and technical equipment installation remain underway on the lower deck as systems integration progresses.
On the exterior, sliding doors are now in place, teak decking production continues, and paint preparation works are advancing ahead of final application.
These developments build on the momentum of the wider project, which continues to follow the yard’s phased timeline through engine installation, paint completion, interior joinery, launch and sea trials ahead of handover in 2026.
A new benchmark for Sirena Yachts
At under 300 GT, the Sirena 118 stands out for its flexible tri-deck layout and spacious volumes. The main-deck owner’s stateroom offers exceptional privacy, while an optional two-deck "loft" configuration creates a unique waterside retreat with direct access from a private spiral staircase. Up to six guest cabins, including a generous VIP, ensure comfort for extended cruising.
Performance is ensured by the yacht’s highly efficient fast-displacement hull form, with twin MAN V12 engines delivering a top speed of 16 knots in the standard configuration and up to 21 knots with the upgraded package.
“As the first Sirena 118 continues to take shape, we are proud to see the design vision materialising across every area of the build,” says Sirena Yachts CEO Çağin Genc. “The craftsmanship of our team, together with our long-standing partners such as Cor D. Rover and Germán Frers, is bringing this new flagship to life in a way that truly reflects the spirit of Sirena.”
The Sirena 118 will make her debut in 2026, marking a significant milestone in the evolution of Sirena Yachts’ superyacht offering.
