SW108 Gelliceaux never disappoints: racing in her fourth regatta since her delivery in 2023, the yacht has proven to be unstoppable on the race course. After an overall victory at the 2024 St. Barths Bucket in her debut regatta, she went on to win her class in 2024 Ibiza Joy Sail, 2025 Giorgio Armani Superyacht Regatta and now the Palma Superyacht Cup . Never before has a sailing team achieved a Grand Slam at the four biggest Superyacht events in one year and Gelliceaux has now set the bar very high.

With consistent results over the three days of racing, Gelliceaux claimed first place in Class A ahead of Cervo and Linnea Aurora, with Captain Clive Walker commenting, “The Gelliceaux owners and team keep the good times rolling…”

On Day Two of the Superyacht Cup, Gelliceaux managed to claim a point back on her rival Cervo in a race that went down to the wire. With a stronger and more consistent breeze, Gelliceaux kicked up her heels and flew around the race course to take second place behind Linnea Aurora, putting her on equal points with Cervo and tied for first leading into the final day.

Emotions ran high going into the final race, but Gelliceaux executed a near-perfect downwind start. Despite beginning fourth in the sequence, she quickly surged ahead, leading the fleet around the first mark. A slight misstep while dropping her massive gennaker allowed Cervo to slip through on the inside, but Gelliceaux recovered during a six-mile upwind leg, steadily narrowing the gap.

The duel between the two frontrunners unfolded across the entire course, with both crews flawlessly executing multiple sail changes and tactical maneuvers. Thanks to the laser focus of Gelliceaux’s owner at the helm, the SW108 maintained impressive speed and a steady course, ultimately edging out Cervo in a nail-biting finish.

It was a challenging regatta, with intense and closely fought competition right up to the final mile, just as the proud owners described it: "We are elated to have won our class after three exciting days of racing. The Gelliceaux team kept getting better with each race, and the very well-sailed Cervo made for some tense pursuits right up to the finish."

Next week, Gelliceaux will departs for a summer of relaxed family cruising. But she’ll return in September for 2025 Ibiza JoySail, ready to exhibit her amazing racing powers.

Congratulations to the owner and crew of Gelliceaux on this outstanding achievement and on setting a new standard in superyacht racing excellence!
