Tykun XII set for World Debut at the Monaco Yacht Show 2026

More space, greater range and enhanced versatility define TYKUN’s new flagship chase boat and luxury weekender.

Following the success of the TYKUN X at the Monaco Yacht Show 2025, where the brand’s debut model demonstrated agility and high-performance capability in the waters of Port Hercule, TYKUN is preparing the next evolution of its range. The all-new TYKUN XII, currently under construction on Italy's Adriatic coast, will make its world premiere at the Monaco Yacht Show 2026, introducing a larger and more versatile hull design that combines military-grade engineering with refined onboard living, as a direct evolution of the TYKUN X and the new flagship of the range.

Capable of exceeding 50 knots, the TYKUN XII builds on the all-aluminium DNA of the TYKUN X, which introduced the brand's distinctive combination of performance, versatility and military-derived engineering. Developed by MED Group, a company specialising in vessels for navies, civil enforcement agencies and special forces, the new flagship combines performance, seaworthiness and a high degree of customisation.

Designed by architect Tommaso Spadolini from a concept developed with engineer and yachting consultant Benedetta Iovane, the TYKUN XII represents a contemporary interpretation of the modern supertender, equally suited as a high-performance chase boat, an elegant dayboat or a sophisticated weekender.

"The TYKUN XII stays true to what makes TYKUN unmistakable: military-grade performance paired with genuine everyday comfort, while giving owners more room to live on board and maintaining the meticulous attention to detail that defines every TYKUN project," says Benedetta Iovane.

The Low Bow version features a walkaround layout with an open-plan cabin and separate bathroom, while the High Bow version, with its non-walkaround configuration, provides even larger and more liveable interiors. Both configurations strike the perfect balance between outstanding performance and refined luxury. The model significantly expands onboard usability and seasonal cruising potential.

Versatility remains central to the design. Owners can choose between a high-bow configuration with an expansive sunpad or a low-bow layout featuring a forward cockpit with seating and dining space. At the stern, fold-down bulwarks transform the cockpit into a spacious beach terrace directly connected to the sea.

Below deck, the extended hull allows for multiple layout options, including a French bed, V-berth or convertible saloon configuration, complemented by a separate bathroom with shower and extensive storage for weekend cruising, as well as dedicated on-deck locker space for watersports equipment.

"Our goal was to retain the strong, recognisable character of the TYKUN range while taking advantage of the additional volume to improve onboard comfort and versatility,”
says Tommaso Spadolini. “The result is a boat that remains dynamic and purposeful, yet offers a more refined cruising experience."

The TYKUN XII is built on MED Group’s military-derived aluminium hull, featuring stepped geometry for high-speed efficiency, a hybrid fender system and a raised bow profile for improved comfort and safety in demanding conditions. Twin outboard engines ranging from 400 to 600 hp deliver speeds of over 50 knots.

Twin fuel tanks, each with a capacity of up to 650 litres, combined with freshwater capacity of up to 300 litres, ensure extended autonomy even when operating away from the mothership, reinforcing TYKUN XII’s role as both a superyacht tender and a refined high-performance weekender.
