From May 29 to June 2, the historic Arsenal in Venice hosted the latest edition of the prestigious Salone Nautico Venezia, attracting marine world enthusiasts from across Europe. The event gathered leading representatives of the yacht industry, showcasing the latest achievements in technology and design, with a special focus on comfort, craftsmanship and ecology.

One of the most exciting highlights of the exhibition was the premiere of the boutique yacht Flying Shark 7.7, produced by the Polish shipyard VTS. Recognized for combining modern technology with reliability and elegant design, VTS presented an exclusive recreational yacht distinguished by its cruising comfort and high-quality finish.

The new model continues the brand’s established stylistic direction, evolving towards “nostalgic modernity” while still drawing inspiration from classic designs of the 1960s. Notable features include the proportions of the bow, which occupies nearly one-third of the boat's length, and the distinctive combination of teak wood with Espresso Black gelcoat, giving it elegance and a unique character.

The yacht's cockpit emphasizes symmetry and functionality. Comfortable seatings along the sides can accommodate eight people and the reversible backrests allow for the creation of smaller zones, including a comfortable area around the bathing platform. Practical details such as numerous storage compartments, handy railings and or even heated seats are also well-considered.

The cabin design has been given equal attention. It is spacious and functional, offering not only shelter from bad weather but also a cozy space to spend time. During the day, it is naturally lit by a glass skylight, while in the evening, ambient LED lighting provides the right atmosphere. The cabin can accommodate two adults and numerous storage compartments, including one for a cabin suitcase, help maintain order. The integrated design discreetly incorporates a sink and a marine toilet.

The most distinguishing feature of the Flying Shark 7.7 is its semi-planing hull design, which ensures smooth acceleration and high sailing comfort across the speed range from 0 to 60 km/h. In speed-restricted areas such as the Venetian Lagoon, the yacht allows for comfortable cruising at speeds between 15-30 km/h without the typical trim and discomfort of planing vessels.

The latest model stays true to the brand’s philosophy of emphasizing ecology through efficiency. While VTS yachts are designed for electric propulsion, they are also available with conventional propulsion, which, with reduced power requirements, maintains quality experiences while caring for the environment. The yacht is crafted from certified, top-quality materials using the latest technologies, exemplifying innovation and precision.

Currently, the boat is offered with outboard electric and combustion engines. The premiere of the version with inboard propulsion and a second deck layout – the Bowrider – is
