The sophisticated look of the stand of the Guidi company, a leading global manufacturer of naval equipment, at the new edition of the METS - Marine Equipment Trade Show (Amsterdam RAI, 15-17 November 2016) matches the importance of its contents.

METS is the B2B trade show for the world of boating equipment at global level. There will be 1,400 exhibitors from 50 countries and an expected 22 thousand visitors, all professionals in the sector.

The elegant stand of Guidi (01.761, Europa Hall) was designed by Studio Anna Fileppo and enriched by a work of art by Alessandro Ciffo, created specially for the occasion: The colours and markings of this spectacular silicon “sail” from the “Murano 5.0” series, together with other, smaller items from the series, are reminiscent of the sea waves.

In its stand of 60 m², the company will present to professionals from all over the world its complete range of accessories in bronze, brass, chrome-and nickel-plated, aluminium, non-stick valves, sea water intakes, thru-hulls, water strainers and various pipe fittings.

In addition to anti-fouling device, the novelty item presented in Amsterdam and produced in collaboration with Tecnoseal, the list of new items on display at the Guidi stand at the METSTRADE also comprises its range of sea water intakes (article 1120 and 1120 F), which have been redesigned to guarantee a greater water capacity and improved flow rate.

2016 has been a year of growth: +10%, with positive results on the Italian market

Guidi is preparing to close 2016 on a positive note in terms of market trends: the growth in turnover in the first nine months reached +10% compared to 2015. The most pleasing result of all lies in the fact that recovery has been led by a significant increase in orders on the Italian market.

“We are really happy that the positive signs we received in the first few months of the year were confirmed also later on, and particularly pleased that Italy, with an increase of 15%, was once again the driving force behind this. Our turnover is once again perfectly balanced between Italy and abroad, after many years in which export sales prevailed”, explains the company’s founder, Bruno Guidi, who adds: “we have never stopped believing and investing: this year, we have installed new high-tech machinery that has allowed us to accelerate and improve production. We have totally redesigned our web site and are strengthening our presence in certain markets, in addition to looking for business partners in order to break into markets that are still uncovered in the sector”.

The company still firmly believes in its path of ‘industrial patronage’, by promoting art as an innovative form of communication for the boating sector: “Here at METS, where we deal with operators from all over the world, we have brought only the most recent work of art, this time by Ciffo, a well-established artist with whom we had already joined forces on a previous occasion, with great satisfaction for both of us”, concludes Guidi.
