Hayvenhurst to unveil new collections at Masterly Milano during Milan Design Week
Hayvenhurst will debut its latest furniture collections at Masterly – The Dutch in Milano from April 21–26 at the Palazzo Giureconsulti in central Milan, marking a major international presentation for the luxury brand.
Founded by Jackie Jackson, Rock & Roll Hall of Famer and member of The Jacksons, and Robert Milder, a Dutch designer and sustainability pioneer, Hayvenhurst will present a full-scale installation at the entrance of the exhibition, showcasing new designs defined by sustainable materials, Dutch craftsmanship, and international collaboration.
Among the highlights is the Galápagos Chair, created in collaboration with Savian by BioFluff. The piece features Savian, a 100% plant-based alternative to fur and shearling, made entirely from hemp fibers. The “Wolfy” style in the “Rustic” colorway highlights the natural tone and texture of the fibers as a plush, cruelty-free fur alternative, while delivering durability and eliminating both animal-derived inputs and microplastic pollution.
The presentation also introduces new designer collaborations across Europe, including Italian designer Francesca Fagioli, who is redefining contemporary furniture through a philosophy that challenges traditional forms and embraces fluid, emotion-driven design.
Fagioli brings a sculptural sensibility to the Distorto Sofa, part of her Distorto collection, a monolithic and asymmetrical series that reinterprets the sofa as a stretched, distorted object beyond conventional form. Rooted in shifting perception, the work explores how altered realities can generate entirely new forms and identities.
This collaboration with Hayvenhurst reflects a shared commitment to sustainable innovation and conceptual design, positioning the piece as both functional furniture and expressive art.
Danish designer Michala Stigkjaer contributes the Senoa Table, reflecting a refined, minimalist approach to form and function, informed by Nordic principles of simplicity, adaptability, and longevity. Within the Hayvenhurst design team, she is known for her uncompromising attention to detail and distinct expression of Scandinavian elegance, creating pieces that balance beauty and purpose.
Her work blends timeless Danish design principles with a modern, forward-thinking perspective, balancing minimalism and functionality to elevate simplicity into a sophisticated, luxurious aesthetic. At Hayvenhurst, her designs embody durability, refinement and a belief that true design is meant to be both seen and experienced.
All pieces are produced using sustainably sourced materials and are Dutch made, reinforcing the brand’s commitment to responsible production and enduring quality.
“Hayvenhurst has always been about honoring where we come from while designing for what’s next,” Jackson said. “This collection represents a deeper exploration of material, collaboration and legacy on a global stage.”
Milder added, “We are focused on building a future where luxury and sustainability are not at odds. Every decision, from materials to manufacturing, is made with long-term impact in mind.”
The brand traces its roots to the Hayvenhurst estate in Encino, California, acquired by the Jackson family in 1971. That legacy continues to inform the brand’s evolving design language, blending heritage with a forward-looking perspective.
