We are delighted to announce that Lürssen’s 142m L.O.A. DRAGONFLY won the 2025 Yacht Style Awards in the “Superyacht Above 80m” category.

The gala night and prizegiving ceremony took place on April 9th in ONE15 Marina Club, Grand Constellation Ballroom, in Sentosa, Singapore.

DRAGONFLY was awarded in a category which included as finalists some outstanding superyachts delivered in the last year, as the Feadships BREAKTHOUGH (119m) and LAUNCHPAD (119m), and the Lürssen KISMET (122m).
The Award was delivered to DRAGONFLY with the following motivation:

“German yard Lürssen is a name synonymous with many of the world’s largest, strongest and attractive superyachts, although they also deliver quite a few yachts in the 60 - 90m range. Recent custom vessel Dragonfly, a 142m masterpiece styled by Germán Frers and with interiors and exterior social spaces by Nauta, has advanced diesel -
electric hybrid propulsion.

The owner’s previous 73m Dragonfly was well - known in the South Pacific, where it assisted in providing cyclone relief to remote islands.” DRAGONFLY is an iconic, powerful yacht of striking beauty.
Masterfully built by Lurssen, her forceful and elegant exterior styling is penned by German Frers, while Nauta created the interior and the exterior social areas design with a subtle balance of refined elegance.

The sophisticated, yet balanced design by Nauta features unique lifestyle and atmospheres, offering breathtaking outside views and perspectives, with double height saloons, waterfalls with openable background, outstanding wellness areas.
An innovative double folding stern platform system creates a multifunctional beach club area of 180 sq.m. with direct access to the water.

Dragonfly features peak technology, including a modern, very efficient diesel electric hybrid propulsion system, and
an electric Azimuth Pod Drive, developed by Lurssen in - house engineering specialists.
This system comprises twin diesel engines that drive two controllable pitch propellers through individual gearboxes, fitted with PTI/PTO units for electric propulsion or to generate electrical energy to operate the vessel, providing the vessel with a vast variety of propulsion modes to suit every situation and requirement and to travel everywhere in the world.
