Sanlorenzo SpA, one of the leading players in the luxury nautical sector, listed since November 2019 on the Euronext STAR Milan, has announced a significant change in leadership. Ferruccio Rossi, who until yesterday held the roles of Executive Director, General Manager, and Executive within the company based in La Spezia, has decided, in agreement with the company, to conclude his professional cycle alongside Massimo Perotti, Chairman of Sanlorenzo. However, while marking a strategic turning point for Sanlorenzo that probably opens up new scenarios and an organizational evolution of the group, the termination of the contract should not cause internal trauma to the company, at least according to Massimo Perotti's comment: "I am confident that the new and different relationship of collaboration currently under negotiation with Ferruccio Rossi will be just as successful and result in fruitful mutual cooperation. I confirm that the organization of Sanlorenzo adequately absorbs the functions that were performed by Ferruccio Rossi.

Born in La Spezia, Ferruccio Rossi graduated with honors in Business Economics at the L. Bocconi University of Milan. He then attended the Stockholm School of Economics and the London Business School. He began his career in the financial sector, first in the corporate finance practice of KPMG, and then in M&A at JP Morgan and in private equity at Permira Funds. In 2005, when Permira controlled 100% of the Ferretti Group, he entered the yacht industry, right in the Forlì group, where he held various strategic roles both in Italy, CEO of Riva, and overseas, North America Country Manager, until being appointed Group Executive Officer in 2012, just when the Ferretti Group came under the control of the Chinese Shandong Heavy Industry Group (SHIG)-Weichai.
Rossi joined Sanlorenzo two years later, in 2014, taking on numerous positions within the Group, including President of the Superyacht Division, Delegate Councilor of Bluegame, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Fortune Yacht LLC, Councilor of Marine Yachting Monaco Sam, CEO of PN Sviluppo and PN VSY.
The consensual conclusion of his role as an executive will be effective from April 30, 2024, however, Rossi will maintain his position as a Director, without delegations, until the end of October 2024, a period during which he will gradually leave all positions in the other companies of the group.
At the moment, a non-competition agreement has also been activated, which will last until April 30, 2025, highlighting the desire to maintain a respectful and strategic professional relationship but in parallel, the possibility of a new collaboration contract between Rossi and Sanlorenzo for the development of specific projects is being evaluated, emphasizing continuity in the partnership.
