Novamarine S.p.A., a historic shipyard brand from Gallura specialized in the construction of RIBs and listed on the Euronext Growth Milan since last August, has announced the signing of a contract for the expansion of its Su Arrasolu production site in Sardinia. The agreement, signed on 5 June 2025 with Cosmo Montaggi e Trasporti S.r.l., involves an investment of approximately €1.5 million for the construction of a new 5,000-square-meter facility dedicated specifically to fiberglass processing.

The decision to build a significantly larger facility compared to the initial plan—which had foreseen only 1,500 square meters—will allow for the installation of overhead cranes and advanced equipment, improving production efficiency and reducing processing cycle times.

This major expansion is part of the strategy presented by Novamarine during its IPO, aimed at responding to growing market demand and consolidating its competitive positioning.

The works, financed through proceeds raised during the IPO, are expected to be completed by the end of 2025. Meanwhile, Novamarine has set up a temporary area within the same site to ensure uninterrupted production during construction.

In addition, a second plant is planned at Su Arrasolu, dedicated exclusively to the development of boats for the professional segment. This separation will enable more targeted management of the different production lines.

Francesco Pirro, President and CEO of Novamarine, stated:
“We are proud to announce the start of the expansion and modernization of the Su Arrasolu facility—one of the key goals we set during the IPO. This investment reflects our commitment to creating an advanced, high-capacity production site, ready to efficiently meet market demands and support Novamarine’s industrial and strategic growth in the coming years.”

Novamarine currently manages the Su Arrasolu shipyard, which covers an area of approximately 33,000 square meters, entirely dedicated to the production of its boats. Maintenance and storage operations are instead carried out at the Cala Saccaia yard, currently leased.
