The 2025 edition of The Superyacht Forum, scheduled to take place in Amsterdam on November 17th and 18th at the RAI, is shaping up to be one of the most significant in recent years, marked by major organizational changes, new synergies with Metstrade, and a program strongly focused on the sustainable future of yachting.

After more than twenty-five years under the management of The Superyacht Group, the organization of the Forum has now been taken over by RAI Amsterdam, already the organizer of Metstrade, the world’s largest marine equipment trade show. This transition marks the beginning of a new chapter for the superyacht industry’s leading conference, which remains committed to stimulating debate, anticipating trends, and fostering high-level networking, while now being even more integrated with the broader Metstrade platform. The central theme for the 2025 edition is “NXT,” highlighting the need to look ahead with innovation, responsibility, and a focus on the next generations of yacht owners and industry professionals. The goal is to explore how the industry can evolve by adapting to new regulations, environmental imperatives, and socio-economic changes while remaining relevant and competitive.

Sustainability will not only be addressed as an environmental necessity but also as a strategic driver influencing design, construction, refit, and the daily operation of superyachts. One of the most anticipated highlights is the return of the Superyacht Coating Conference, taking place alongside Metstrade on November 18th and 19th. This highly regarded technical conference will tackle crucial issues such as new coating regulations, ISO standards, innovations in materials, application techniques, and quality control systems. It is a unique opportunity for shipyards, suppliers, and contractors operating in an increasingly regulated and competitive environment. Strengthened integration with Metstrade further enhances the Forum’s value: the Superyacht Zone will be expanded to include not only new builds but also the refit market and sustainable technologies. The aim is to create an ecosystem where exhibitors, delegates, and visitors can interact more seamlessly, maximizing business and collaboration opportunities.

The Forum’s agenda will combine plenary sessions, thematic workshops, and high-level networking opportunities. Core topics will include decarbonization, advanced materials, evolving business models, and strategies for addressing an increasingly global and complex market. As always, the event will feature keynote interventions by leading industry figures, as well as case studies highlighting recent projects that embody innovation and forward-thinking approaches. Amsterdam’s role as host city reinforces its position as a central hub for the European yacht industry, thanks to its strategic location and ability to welcome a diverse international community. The 2025 edition will also focus on enhancing the delegate experience, with dedicated services, hospitality packages, and travel solutions designed to facilitate attendance from professionals around the world.

In summary, The Superyacht Forum 2025 promises to be a pivotal event for anyone involved in the sector, not only to better understand the challenges ahead but also to actively contribute to shaping the solutions that will define the future of luxury yachting. Innovation, sustainability, and collaboration stand as the keywords of an event that continues to set the global benchmark for the industry.
