ISA Yachts, the Ancona-based shipyard within the Palumbo Superyachts group, presented the Blade 70-metre project on 19 March 2026. The yacht marks the start of a collaboration with Lobanov Design, the studio led by Igor Lobanov.

Giuseppe Palumbo, Sole Director of Palumbo Superyachts, said: “Blade 70 metres is a new interpretation of the ISA Yachts DNA and a project of strategic value. The collaboration with Lobanov Design stems from a shared vision of design, identity and innovation. This yacht is just the first step: we are already developing a larger superyacht with the studio.”

The yacht falls within the grand sport segment. The bow is slightly inverted and concave in profile, with stainless steel decorative details, a fully integrated and covered anchor niche, and custom-made fairleads. The formal reference, according to the yard, is the naval architecture of the late 19th and early 20th centuries.

The lines run unbroken from bow to stern. Glazed surfaces use dotted-film panels and a black insert near the waterline at the bow. The superstructure combines glass and black-painted surfaces. Aft, the garage door and beach club transforms, when closed, into a wooden bench facing the sea. External details include recessed teak inserts and custom fender fittings.

The master suite sits aft on the upper deck, with a private terrace and open sea views. The forward garage, with an opening on the hull side, houses a 9.6-metre tender and a rescue tender.

The hull is steel, the superstructure aluminium. Gross tonnage is 1,300 GT. Propulsion comes from twin MTU 12V4000 M53L engines rated at 1,771 kW each: top speed 17.5 knots, cruising speed 14 knots, range approximately 5,000 nautical miles at cruising speed. ISA Yachts also has a 100-metre superyacht currently under construction.
