Ibiza JoySail Superyacht Regatta 2026: 20 superyachts set for the sixth edition
The fleet for the sixth edition of the Ibiza JoySail Superyacht Regatta has now been confirmed. Taking place from 17 to 20 September and based at Marina Ibiza, the event will see twenty superyachts racing in the waters between Ibiza and Formentera, reinforcing its position as one of the Mediterranean’s leading events for large sailing yachts. The 2026 edition will bring together both returning competitors and a number of newcomers, reflecting the growing appeal of the regatta.

Returning entries include Aurelius, Cervo, Gelliceaux, Karibu, Liberty Squared, Moat, Morgana and Nostromo, while Bella, Fortissimo, Atalante, Inoui, Kalantis, Kiboko III, Mari Cha III, Ocho, Point Counter Point, Rose, Starfall and Win Win will make their Ibiza JoySail debut. The fleet ranges from 80 to 147 feet in length and features yachts built by some of the world’s foremost shipyards. Southern Wind is the best represented builder with seven yachts, followed by Nautor’s Swan with five. The line-up is completed by yachts from Vitters, Baltic Yachts, Pendennis Shipyard, Oyster, Wally, Y Yachts, J.O.M. Holland and Sensation Yachts.
“This fleet reflects the evolution of Ibiza JoySail over the past six years. Each edition brings together an eclectic mix of yachts, from cutting-edge racing projects to cruising yachts competing in their original configuration. Striking that balance has become one of the defining characteristics of Ibiza JoySail,” said Nacho Postigo, Director of Ibiza JoySail.

The event continues to embrace its Corinthian Spirit, allowing owners and crews to compete while keeping their yachts in standard cruising trim. Ahead of the regatta, competitors will also have the opportunity to challenge for the Perpetual Trophy by attempting the fastest crossing between Mallorca and Ibiza between 15 August and 16 September, a contest that has become one of the event’s hallmark features. With the fleet now confirmed, anticipation is building for another edition that will once again bring some of the Mediterranean’s most representative sailing superyachts to the waters off Ibiza and Formentera.
