Lusben at Cannes and Monaco in its 70th anniversary year
Lusben is taking to the Cannes Yachting Festival and the Monaco Yacht Show an account of the work carried out on its own facilities. The refit division of the Azimut|Benetti Group runs three yards — Livorno, Viareggio and Varazze — and in 2026 marks seventy years since it was founded in Viareggio in 1956.

A 720-tonne travel lift has been installed at Viareggio, allowing the yard to lift and handle yachts of up to 55 metres. At Livorno, the 180-metre floating dock Mediterraneo is being refitted; the dock lets the site work on vessels of up to 150 metres. Work has also begun at Livorno on a new crew lounge for crews staying at the yard.

The investment comes as the market expands. BOATPro figures reported by International Boat Industry put the global superyacht fleet at 1,925 units in 1986 and 13,587 in 2026. As the existing fleet grows, refit work draws on demand spanning skills, technical capacity, planning and execution.
The multi-site model lets the company spread technical, cosmetic and functional work across the three yards, following each yacht from initial planning through to final delivery.

Lusben is in Cannes from 8 to 13 September 2026, Jetée Nord – Jetée No. 156, and in Monaco from 23 to 26 September 2026, stand Q2, Quai Chicane.
