ISA Amarcord 86: 86-metre superyacht
ISA unveils Amarcord 86, an 86-metre superyacht
ISA Yachts has presented Amarcord 86, a yacht measuring 86 metres in length overall with a 13.6-metre beam. It is the second project in the ISA Large Yacht Collection, after Amarcord 82. The brand belongs to Palumbo Superyachts.
Nuvolari Lenard designed the exterior. A sharply drawn hull meets softer superstructure volumes, while large glazed surfaces and hull openings cut down the visual mass of the profile.

Each deck has its own function. Aft, a fixed swim platform and two fold-down balconies bring the living areas close to the water. When the beach club hatch opens, it extends that space and shades part of the platform. The same level holds a massage room and a gym facing the sea, linked to the beach club and the wellness area by a glazed passage that runs through the engine room. Amidships, a second fold-down shell door provides another direct access from the water.
A circular staircase built around a glass panoramic lift connects the decks vertically and returns as an architectural motif throughout the project.
On the main deck, the aft cockpit is taken up by a panoramic pool. Its glass bottom lets daylight through to the level below, at the entrance to the beach club. A terrace divided into lounge and dining areas surrounds the pool, and inside, the main salon carries on the layout of the exterior spaces.

There are five guest cabins, one of them a VIP suite, each with a private bathroom. A twin cabin is located on the lower deck. The owner's suite, more than 100 square metres, occupies the upper deck.
The upper deck is set aside mainly for the owner and family. Forward, an outdoor living area is arranged around a central pool with two lounge zones alongside it. Beyond it the cockpit is left clear and can be used as a private terrace or for outdoor events; it is prepared for touch-and-go operations by medium-sized helicopters.
The bridge deck holds a second dining area and an outdoor lounge built around a central fire pit, with sofas and informal seating.
The sun deck has a bar with a teppanyaki plate in a sheltered position, a forward pool with sunpads and several panoramic lounge areas.

Below deck, the crew area has eleven cabins for up to 21 people. The captain has a double cabin on the bridge deck.
The yard describes the ISA Large Yacht Collection not as a range of set models but as an open design platform, developed around each owner's requirements. Palumbo Superyachts is building ISA projects of up to 100 metres, including the 100-metre unit that will become its new flagship, and built the 80-metre Columbus Classic M/Y Dragon.
