The second edition of Seaquip is beginning to take shape, with one figure providing an early indication of the industry’s response: the number of exhibitors already confirmed for the event, scheduled for 2-4 March 2027, is 52% higher than at the same point in the run-up to the inaugural edition. The increase is also translating into the progressive allocation of exhibition space at Fiera Milano Rho and accompanies the event’s efforts to strengthen its international dimension.

Seaquip, a B2B event primarily dedicated to marine equipment and components, will use the September boat show calendar to meet companies and industry professionals and gather feedback from the market ahead of the 2027 edition. Its delegation will attend SMM in Hamburg, an event focused on the maritime industry and covering technologies, onboard systems, propulsion, materials and marine components; it will then move to the Cannes Yachting Festival, dedicated to recreational boating, before concluding its programme at the Monaco Yacht Show, with its focus on the superyacht sector. Three different settings that will allow the organisers to engage with different segments of the international marine and maritime industries.

The programme is part of Seaquip’s strategy to maintain an ongoing relationship with the supply chain beyond the days of the exhibition itself. “Our aim is to connect the industry’s key players through a dialogue that continues throughout the year and increasingly looks towards the international market,” explains Pier Paolo Ponchia, Managing Director of Easyfairs Italia, noting that the pace of registrations is already leading to a rapid allocation of space for the next edition.

The March event will mark the second edition of Seaquip – Mediterranean Yacht and Marine Equipment Trade Fair, organised by the Italian branch of Easyfairs and hosted at Fiera Milano Rho. The format is aimed at professionals working in marine components, equipment and services, with an exclusively B2B approach. Following the event’s debut, the level of registrations for 2027 and Seaquip’s presence at the main international industry events in September therefore provide the first indicators with which to assess the development of the project and its ability to involve a broader section of the marine supply chain.
