Acquera Yachting announces the strengthening of its presence in Malta with an enhanced local structure led by Karl Naudi, working alongside Mario Micallef, who will coordinate the operational team on the island. This move reflects the company’s commitment to reinforcing its role in a key location for its clients, thanks to Malta’s strategic position in the Mediterranean.

The two professionals now leading the local team share a strong connection to the territory, an expanded network of suppliers, and operational expertise in the superyacht sector.

Acquera Yachting has always been committed to providing exceptional service to its clients year-round. The agency founded by Stefano Tositti now announces the strengthening of its activities in Malta, recognizing the island as a strategic hub within the Mediterranean yachting landscape: with its central location, well-developed maritime infrastructure and operational capacity throughout the year, Malta offers an ideal base to support superyacht operations across the region.

In line with Acquera Yachting’s distinctive approach of combining global expertise with strong local leadership, the reinforcement of its Maltese presence is driven by a strategic joint venture with Mariner Shipping. This partnership brings together two established industry players to create a single, highly capable service provider in the Maltese market.

By combining Acquera Yachting’s global superyacht expertise with Mariner Shipping’s deep-rooted local logistics knowledge, the new structure delivers a comprehensive and seamlessly integrated service offering in Malta.

This development is supported by Karl Naudi, Managing Director of Mariner Shipping Services Ltd., who joins Acquera Yachting as Managing Director for Malta. With more than 25 years of experience in the maritime, logistics and ship agency sectors, Naudi is recognized for his contribution to the growth of maritime services and the superyacht sector on the island, as well as for his leadership in developing critical partnerships within the industry.

Working alongside him, Mario Micallef will serve as Operations Officer of Acquera Yachting in Malta. With a career in the maritime and yachting sector that began in the mid-1980s, Micallef has managed some of the largest and most prestigious vessels in the world, many exceeding 100 meters in length. In 2020, he brought his extensive experience to Mariner Shipping Services Ltd. His broad network of trusted suppliers, combined with deep operational knowledge of the Maltese ports, ensures every vessel receives efficient, seamless, and tailor-made support.

Through this operation, Acquera Yachting continues to provide clients with unparalleled services, while building long-term partnerships within one of the premier Mediterranean destinations.
