BENETEAU will shortly launch two new models that will take the express cruiser world market by surprise: the Gran Turismo 32, at the Cannes boat show, next September, and the Gran Turismo 36, in Europe, in spring 2020.

Designed to marry the features of a day boat and an express cruiser perfectly, the Gran Turismo 32 and Gran Turismo 36 are the entry-level boats in this line. Clearly on a winning streak, they will be among the few boats in this category to offer a choice between inboard or outboard engines. The Gran Turismo 32 and Gran Turismo 36 are the first of a new generation of powerboats tailored to provide all-round pleasure and exciting sensations.

BENETEAU is taking on the express cruiser market with the launch of two truly amaz-ing boats, the Gran Turismo 32 and Gran Turismo 36. Incorporating the open spirit of day boats and the spirit of hard-top sport cruisers, these two new models are entirely given over to pleasure and exciting sensations. These powerboats are a perfect bal-ance between a sporty feel, ease-of-use and comfort, all in forty feet. They also have an unusually high level of features and performance compared to other boats on the market.

Designed to provide a perfect transition from a day boat to an express cruiser, the Gran Turismo 32 makes use of the Flyer 10 deck plan, while retaining the panache of the Gran Turismo line. It also lives up to the challenge the BENETEAU designers set themselves of marrying the spirit of a large open boat with that of a spacious comfortable hard top. And the outcome? The benefits of a day boat on an express cruiser!

Light and ventilation are a priority on board, particularly under the hard top. The Gran Turismo 32 has good head clearance and will appeal to anyone who loves an open boat. They will never feel claustro-phobic. There is good interaction between the various spaces on the upper deck, which are well arranged, with all the features of a cleverly
designed boat.

From an aesthetic point of view, her sporty look just breathes communicative power. Her modern-looking sides reflect the light elegantly. With a powerful profiled silhouette, family or friends will love trips to sea on the Gran Turismo 32!

Optimized to make the best use of every space, the Gran Turismo 32 leaves room for imagination allow-ing a variety of potential uses in all seasons.
Redesigned with a very large windshield, its bright hard top provides optimal vision underway. A semi-walkaround to the bow makes movement pleasant and safe. It leads you to the forward sun pads where you can bask in the sun before diving into the water from the swim platform.

At the helm, two bolster seats behind the console are supplemented to port by a double bench seat. This means that four people can share the pleasures of driving facing the sea. In the cockpit, the full beam layout of the Gran Turismo 32 allows for the best use of space. The back rest of the lounger seat and the aft bench tip back to create a large sunbathing area.

The galley on the starboard, is fully fitted with a refrigerator, sink, twin burner on oven, storage and even a small worktop, so that you can cook real meals while enjoying life aboard.

The Gran Turismo 32 has two double berths and a real shower space with an independent head compartment, making nights on board a pleasure. Bathed in soft light from the long
hull windows, the main central cabin and the mid cabin can use the spacious storage column at the bottom of the companionway. The space is enhanced by elegant walnut coloured materials.

One signature feature of the Gran Turismo is the powerful spray of its wake, showing the liveliness of a perfectly propelled Airstep hull. With engines of up to 600 HP, the Gran Turismo 32 promises peak speeds of 35 knots. A wonderful power reserve for a boat whose handling is child’s play. The express cruiser can be equipped, on option, with a joystick, a zipwake system, a bow drive, and two Garmin 12” screens, making her incredibly simple to drive. Lastly, the Gran Turismo 32 has extra appeal, because she offers a choice between an outboard or in-board version.
