SilverCat today unveiled the second generation of its power catamaran range, marking a bold new chapter for the brand with a stronger design identity and a fresh approach to onboard living.

Built on a larger beam-to-length ratio, the new generation delivers more spacious interior and exterior social areas, giving owners greater freedom to relax and enjoy time together on the water. Connectivity to the sea is now a defining characteristic of the brand, with outdoor entertainment areas designed to draw owners and guests closer to the water and support a lifestyle built around shared experiences.

The new line-up also introduces contemporary interiors with upgraded materials and refined finishes — soft to the touch, visually striking and easy to maintain. Open-plan layouts and expansive panoramic glazing create bright, spacious interiors built for comfort and seamless indoor-outdoor living. The wider beam further strengthens the stability and seaworthiness SilverCat is known for, while improving range and cruising efficiency.

Introducing the SilverCat 47

The first model to embody this new generation is the all-new SilverCat 47, the newest addition to the brand's Family Series and designed entirely in-house.

"With the SilverCat 47, our ambition was to redefine the modern power catamaran by bringing together contemporary yacht styling, intelligent space planning and premium craftsmanship," said Cristiana Cassese, Product Marketing Specialist at SilverCat. "Every line, feature and material has been carefully developed to create a distinctive SilverCat identity — one that delivers exceptional comfort, effortless entertaining and a true luxury experience for owners."

With a 4.92-metre beam, the SilverCat 47 offers one of the largest aft entertainment areas in its class. Optional fold-down balconies extend the cockpit for a more immersive connection with the sea, while an in-house-developed automatic swim ladder provides easy water access.

Owners can tailor the cockpit with flexible seating configurations, and an extended hardtop provides generous shade for cruising. Forward, a spacious entertainment lounge seats up to eight guests, adding a second shaded social area for relaxing at anchor or taking in panoramic views underway.

Inside, a wide-opening patio door connects the cockpit and salon, reinforcing the indoor-outdoor lifestyle central to the new generation. Bright, open living spaces, configurable galley options and well-appointed accommodation combine practicality with comfort throughout.

Built for family cruising, the SilverCat 47 features a twin-seat social helm with twin companion seats, en-suite accommodation with strong natural light and ventilation, and a tropical HVAC package engineered for reliable year-round performance in warmer climates.

The model also reflects SilverCat's commitment to sustainable boatbuilding, using rPET (recycled PET) foam core material made from 100% recycled plastic. Compared with conventional SAN foam, it significantly reduces CO₂ emissions during production while matching the strength and durability expected of a premium power catamaran.
