Quick Group presents its market-defining service suite moreCARE at PBIBS 2025
Navigating your favorite cruising grounds is one thing, but navigating the marine equipment ecosystem is another—especially when key components are essential for ensuring a safe, comfortable, and enjoyable stay on board.
As one of the world’s leading manufacturers and suppliers of a broad range of marine equipment, Quick Group knows a thing or two about designing, building and maintaining high quality equipment on board, including thrusters, stabilization systems, water heaters, anchoring systems, lighting, motion control systems, deck equipment, furniture, ladders and gangways, doors, portlights, hatches and much more.
At the Palm Beach International Boat Show, Quick Group unveils a major new program set to redefine the boating market by standing alongside owners and captains from equipment selection and installation to extended warranty coverage post-launch, and even to equipment trade-in or remanufacturing.
Dubbed moreCARE, Quick Group’s new Suite of Services has been conceived to ensure reliability and efficiency across the Quick Group’s portfolio of equipment, protecting each owner’s investment and ensuring both safety and peace of mind – key facets to maximizing enjoyment of time spent cruising, mitigating some of the uncertainties that come with the thrill of seaborne adventures.
Initially launched in the US market, these services stand as a helping hand throughout the lifecycle of the product, from initial equipment selection to scheduled maintenance and ultimately to future upgrades, overseen by certified and qualified technicians and backed up by Quick Group’s extensive network and factory service department. Quick USA’s regional operations also boast extensive in-territory expertise and expansive facilities in Florida following strategic acquisitions over the past couple of years, which means it is perfectly placed to offer owners and captains the peace of mind that moreCARE offers. The moreCARE Suite also includes a comprehensive extended warranty option, which will initially be offered on the MC² Quick Gyro stabilizer.
“The US is a really interesting and significant boating market, and it’s a perfect fit for us to launch the moreCARE Suite of Services and extended warranty program as there’s a well-structured customer base which understands the importance of solid aftersales, technical support and extended coverage,”says Francesco Suzzi, After Sales and Service Director at Quick Group.
With end-to-end support, Quick Group’s Suite of Services not only offers stress-free ownership with original spareparts and service coverage but also delivers further ownership and sustainability benefits. The Suite of Services covers several stages of the product’s lifecycle, starting with advice for selecting the best product for your vessel and followed with installation and commissioning assistance, and ongoing support in the operational phase.
“We have prime facilities and a highly knowledgeable, experienced team already in place through the Quick USA division, along with a comprehensive service network that we can expand and enhance. This makes it the perfect region to showcase not only our industry-leading equipment but also the full range of services we can offer to owners and captains,” says Marco Santoro, Quick USA Managing Director.
This includes five key aspects: original spare parts – sourced directly from Quick Group to ensure seamless performance and to safeguard your investment; field service and support – through Quick Group’s factory Service Department and global network and Service Points; a trade-in program giving owners a seamless and cost-effective way to replace or upgrade existing equipment; remanufacturing– which can take the form of refurbishing your existing equipment with new parts, or buying a remanufactured model that has been through the same rigorous testing as new units and which offers a premium unit at a lower cost both financially and to the environment; and the CAREservice agreements–which serve as the ultimate extended coverageplan to ensure your Quick Group equipment continues to operate with peak performance for total peace of mind.
The CARE-agreements extended warranty will be offered first on the MC² Quick Gyro, covering the gyro itself, its electronics, and the MC² Remote Control. “As any owner or captain knows, boats require care and maintenance – you can’t just leave them for a year and expect everything to be fine when you return,” says Suzzi. “That’s especially true when it comes to advanced equipment like a gyro stabilizer. Indeed, the MC² Quick Gyro is one of the most sophisticated products in our extensive portfolio, and the need for on-site service and regular maintenance makes it the perfect product line to debut our Suite of Services and our CARE-agreements extended warranty package.”
The extended coverage is offered in a variety of packages for up to five years and 4,000 hours of gyro usage, ensuring there’s an option for every owner. Extended coverage includes repairs using original MC² Quick Gyro spare parts, labor for troubleshooting and corrective repairs to all parts of the gyro system, bringing peace of mind for owners and captains and delivering assured performance – mirroring the exceptional performance, comfort and stability of the MC² Quick Gyro itself. What’s more, not only can the plans be tailored to individual needs, they can also be transferred to new owners should the vessel be sold, giving buyers confidence in the vessel’s quality and maintenance history and adding further value to the vessel.
“The moreCARE Suite of Services offers significant benefits to vessel owners,” confirms Suzzi. “It ensures peace of mind, knowing you’re covered in the unlikely event of an issue. Plus, the coverage is transferable, which is a great perk when selling the vessel.”
“Of course, the warranty aspect is only part of what the Suite of Services covers – it’s really a lifecycle suite, covering everything from support with installation and commissioning to spare parts supply, field service contracts, trade-ins, refurbishing and remanufacturing” as Suzzi points out.
“Those last three are key – if you bought a boat that doesn’t have a gyro, or if you have a gyro but want to upgrade it to a more powerful or a newer unit, you have several excellent options,” he affirms. “You could buy a certified used approved unit – a cost-efficient way of getting an as-new MC2 Quick Gyro backed up by our warranty – or you could trade in the old unit for a newer or larger one, or we could essentially remanufacture your existing unit by bringing it up to date with the latest parts. These are not only cost-effective solutions,” he concludes, “they are also environmentally friendly ones, ensuring our expertly engineered gyros have an even longer lifespan without compromising on performance or reliability.”
