Yare 2021: the international event of the yachting industry is back
Superyacht captains, refit companies, shipyards, marinas, service companies and industry experts meet again - live, from 20th to 22nd October - during Yare (Yachting Aftersales and Refit Experience), the international event between the captains and the yachting industry which will be hosted in Viareggio, the center of one of the world's leading nautical districts. Yare - organized by Navigo, a nautical innovation and development company - will have its headquarters at the Principino Eventi congress center and at the prestigious Hotel Principe di Piemonte, partner of Yare, and other places in Versilia with visits to the shipyards of the yachting district of Viareggio and the nearby Pisa.
Yare will start on Wednesday 20 October with the arrival of the captains and the districts tour, while the highlight will be on Thursday 21 October with The Superyacht Forum Live (Captains Edition) - organized by international media partner The Superyacht Group and hosted by journalist Martin H. Redmayne, Chairman of the English Group - in-depth analysis on the numbers and the state of the superyacht industry and, in particular, on the trend of the international refit market and forecasts up to 2030. The Forum will be followed by a debate and an interactive exchange with the attending captains also animated by Redmayne together with international experts in the Superyacht industry such as Ken Hickling, John Leonida, Malcolm Jacotine, Feargus Bryan and Alberto Perrone da Zara. Five topics are under discussion (Refit, Paint, Operations, Tax, Marinas, Sustainability and Human Resources) which will also be the subject of in-depth study during the Yare workshops.
Starting in the afternoon and continuing on the following morning of Friday 22 October, the captains will be involved in the two sessions of the B2C Meet the Captain business meetings with appointments set through the Yare app matching system with refit and aftersale companies mainly coming from European countries of the Mediterranean and Northern Europe and the United Kingdom. Yare confirms itself as a strategic event for leading refit and new build shipyards such as Overmarine group, Feadship, San Lorenzo, Fabiani Yacht, Next Yacht Group, Lusben, Lürssen, Seven Stars, Leopard Yachts, Tecnopool and Monaco Marine. The importance of the regulatory compliance by captains and yachts calls for the active participation of subjects such as Rina, SOS Yachting, Hill Robinson, Bluewater and Yachtalia. The presence of prestigious marinas such as Marina di Arechi, Marina Cala del Forte, Marina di Cassano and Porto Montenegro and the constant presence of leaders in the painting sector, such as Jotun and Boero Yacht Coatings, as well as a long series of companies dedicated to supplying and to design and new companies such as Key4Mobility, Boning, Woodenboats, Castormarine, Omnia Access. During YARE, NAVIGO will present on Friday 22 October, a workshop on the European project Med New Job.
The participation of yachts Master between 30 and 60 meters is expected. mostly foreigners (more than half with a prevalence of Greek, Turkish, English, Ukrainian nationality). There are 30 shipyards represented by the captains of superyachts and jewels of the sea with a prevalence of private yachts and an interesting presence of charter yachts. The Passerelle Pitch is also confirmed with the presentation of innovative projects by some participating companies and, after the positive experience of last year, the second edition of the RINA CAPTAINS’ AWARDS, entirely dedicated to captains, protagonists of the event and excellent interlocutors for the superyacht industry that will highlight their professionalism and skills. The Awards will be announced during the Gala Dinner.
