Each year the Nautique de Paris Boat Show brings together all sectors regarding the world of sailing boats, motorboats, board sports, equipment, new technologies, services, rentals, tourism and fishing. Here it is a selection of what's new at this year's exhibition:

MOTORBOAT

Ferretti 450: packing its boats full of its expertise, Ferretti made this brand a key player in the 40-50 foot yacht sector. The Ferretti Yachts 450 stands out with its hull design, generous proportions, elegance and clever interior layouts. The 450 is a light-filled, modern model with a huge fly bridge extending out above the cockpit. This model is available in 2 or 3 cabin versions with a 480hp or 550hp Cummins twin engine.

Delphia 1150 Voyage: Delphia Yachts France, presents a new product for 2017 at the 2016 Nautic Boat Show: the Delphia 1150 Voyage. The boat is remarkable for its choice of two types of hull (displacement or semi-floating) to fit requirements. This new model will be available in single or twin-engine versions ranging from 85 HP to 370 HP. On the layout side, Delphia offers a central saloon with cockpit and handsome double cabins (width: 160 cm), each with separate toilet and shower.

SAILBOAT

RM 970: Once again present at the Nautic Paris Boat Show 2016, RM Fora Marineshipyard presents its new RM970 sailboat. Faster and more comfortable, the RM970 is a 32 feet designed by Marc Lombard cabinet. This boat was designed to fill a gap in the range and meet customers’ expectation, seeking an interim sailboat, larger than 890 and smaller than 1070 (which received the 2016 design award from « voile magazine »). The RM970 will be available from autumn 2016 and exhibited at Nautic 2016.

Tofinou 10: The Latitude 46 shipyard is developing a new line of cruising yachts, with the Tofinou 10 as the first version. Modelled on its first cruising yacht, the Tadorme, the 10 metre-long Tofinou 10 is imbued with the same spirit as the Tofinou range, also designed by the Joubert-Nivelt architect's firm.

Maxus 24 EVO QR: Catway/Maxus Yachts, attending the Nautic Boat Show for the eighth year running in 2016, will be unveiling the new Maxus 24 EVO QR. The integral centreboard version of the Maxus 24 Evo had already been a huge success when it was presented as a European preview at the 2015 Nautic Boat Show. Faster and more of a "sailor's" boat, the QR (referring to the Sabre retractable bulb keel) will delight those looking for a fine performance without compromising on the famous comfort and finish of the Maxus series, especially as it is still transportable and beachable.

Seascape 24: This international one-design sailboat for solo and regatta sailing is equipped with a tracker that records performances. You can also participate in virtual international regattas on a dedicated site. The Seascape 24 is just as good for solo sailing as family cruises along the coast. Class C approved for 8 passengers and 4 berths, it is easy to beach, and has every facility for comfortable adventure racing. Its ingenious design is synonymous with freedom, as this sailboat can be transported on a beach dolly and can be masted autonomously with its own kit. Measurements: length 7.3 m, width 2.5 m, weight 950 Kg, draught 1.90 m /0.30 m, 25 m2 mainsail, 17 m2 jib, 67 m2 spinnaker.

CODE #: the Vintage Bay Sailer, latest in the CODE series. The sleek and sober CODE # has all the authentic Black Pepper features (dog-house, teak deck, transom stern, wide range of technological facilities, etc.). It is 8.20 m long, and sports a decidedly modern hull with taut lines, embodying luxury and a typically French life-style.

EQUIPMENT

Fusion StereoActive: At the Show, visitors can discover the first portable water sports stereo, designed for Stand Up Paddling, Kayaking, Jetskiing and watersports in general. As well as being watertight and able to float, it has an ingenious range of fixing accessories. To enable a large number of people to discover its audio qualities, Fusion has become one of the new partners of the Nautic SUP Paris Crossing and will be providing entertainment at the Spot Nautic basin: a prospect that should be music to your ears!

KMS Batten Hook: Big sails with a large roach and gaffs have become increasingly prevalent these past years. The considerable angulation of the gaff (a large batten) makes it a problem to store. The KMS Karver batten hook deals with this automatically, once and for all. This product is available for KMS Karver batten cars but is also compatible with many cars by other brands.

Rule Lopro pump: Especially designed for confined spaces (e.g. low or narrow bilges), this is highly practical thanks to its 180° rotating discharge connection. The New KENT Marine Equipment Rule Lopro pump, with its 3,400L/hour discharge rate, comes in a manual or an automatic version.

USHIP Flex 165N: This light, flexible, highly ergonomic jacket is worn high, providing considerable freedom of movement. Guaranteeing comfort and safety, it is ideal for regatta competitors, yachtsmen and fishermen looking for a jacket so light you’ll forget you're wearing it.

Harken Reflex: Harken, a global leader in boat fittings and equipment, unveils its new sail furler: the Reflex. Harken France, making a fresh appearance at the Nautic 2016 boat show, will be exhibiting a furler that furls spinnakers, gennakers and code sails rapidly and precisely, making them easier to use in downwind sailing, even with a reduced crew. Equipped with a new anti-twist cable and a compact swivel, the lightest and most reactive ever developed by Harken, the Reflex system is designed for exemplary responsiveness.
