Seaquip at Fiera Milano: debut edition ready with over 160 exhibitors
About one month remains before the opening of Seaquip, the Mediterranean Yacht and Marine Equipment Trade Fair scheduled in Milan from March 4 to 6, and the number of confirmed companies has already exceeded 160 exhibitors. The event is designed as a B2B platform focused on marine components, onboard systems and technical supplies for yachts and superyachts, with a format aimed at connecting manufacturers, shipyards, designers and supply chain operators.
According to the organizers, professional visitor registrations are also increasing, with participants from several segments of the boating and marine equipment industry. At the same time, the number of supporting institutions and associations has grown, with 15 official endorsements confirmed to date.
The operational setup of the trade fair includes digital tools intended to simplify contact management and meeting scheduling between exhibitors and visitors. From the early promotion phase, exhibiting companies have been able to invite their contacts through dedicated links and will receive entry notifications when registered guests access the exhibition. On site, Smart Badge Technology will be used to enable data exchange through a Touch & Collect function, allowing contact and technical information transfer by bringing badges close together.
In the coming days, the Seaquip app is expected to be released, designed to extend networking opportunities before, during and after the exhibition days. The app will allow users to schedule meetings with exhibitors and other attendees, manage agendas and maintain post-event business contacts.
Seaquip is organized by Easyfairs, an international group active in the organization of professional trade fairs across multiple industrial and technical sectors, with more than 110 events managed worldwide. The exhibition is held under the patronage of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Enterprises and several industry associations.
The technical conference program is also being finalized, with contributions from classification bodies, companies and research centers. Announced panels include sessions on yachting decarbonization, offshore finishing processes with environmental focus, additive manufacturing applications in marine design and production, carbon fiber composite regeneration and circular supply chains, as well as digital marketing strategies for yacht and superyacht brands.
Scheduled sessions include: a panel on decarbonization pathways for yachting, involving propulsion and onboard systems stakeholders;
a round table on technical surface treatments and finishing processes with environmental considerations;
a discussion on 3D printing and additive manufacturing in marine component design and production;
a technical focus on carbon fiber regeneration and circular models applicable to shipbuilding;
a session dedicated to digital marketing and communication for yacht and superyacht companies.
Following the level of interest recorded, including from international exhibitors, the organizers have already opened sales for the 2027 edition, which is expected to feature a revised floor plan layout. Further exhibitor confirmations and product launches to be presented at the show are expected to be announced in the coming weeks.
