Jeanneau launches EX range

Jeanneau has announced EX, a motor boat range that joins Cap Camarat, Merry Fisher, TH and DB Yachts. The first model, the EX 34, will be shown in Hardtop version at the Cannes Yachting Festival from 8 to 13 September 2026.

EX stands for Elements and Crossplatform, and the builder gives the pronunciation as "E-X". According to Jeanneau, the range is not derived from existing models and uses a deep-V hull designed specifically for the project. The commercial approach is based on a standard configuration set up for navigation and on options grouped by type of use; the yard says the price point is intended to remain accessible, but gives no figures.

The EX 34 measures 10.40 metres overall, 10.66 metres with options, with a hull length of 9.95 metres and a maximum beam of 3.27 metres. Power comes from twin outboards, with a maximum rating of 2x350 hp (2x258 kW). The specifications, listed as provisional, give fuel tanks of 2x300 litres, a 100-litre water tank, four berths, two cabins and CE category B-8 / C-10, still to be assigned. Design work is credited to Jeanneau Design with Centkowski & Denert Design.

Both versions use the same deck platform. The Hardtop has an open aft cockpit built around a sunpad and a quick-deploy soft enclosure that provides shelter when conditions change. The Cabin has a fully glazed rigid wheelhouse with a large sliding bay window, air conditioning or heating available on the rigid enclosure, and a helm station that converts into an interior seating area.

The layout on both versions is arranged in five areas: aft platforms, aft cockpit, central saloon, helm station and forward lounge. The saloon is convertible and includes a galley, under the cover of the roof. Below deck there are two cabins and a separate head.
