C- Catamarans at Cannes Yachting Festival with C Cat 40 Power Fish

With the C Cat 40 Power Fish, C- Catamarans debuts in the world of motor catamarans, with a model dedicated to sport fishermen. It was time to explore other fields after the well-known C Cat 37, the first of the multihulls produced by the Shipyard that has a long history of success with the Comet line of sailing monohulls.

If the C Cat 37, C Cat 48, C Cat 56, C Cat 62 projects were born in the sailing line, the Rome shipyard, strong of its experience, was ready to enter the motor boats market with the C 40 Power and the C 40 Power Fish. The design philosophy of the entire range is to ensure a fast and safe navigation, with a vessel that offers much more space than a traditional monohull.
C-Cat 40 Power Fish has a decidedly sporty soul: despite being a cruising boat where comfort and refined design are the main ingredients, the new model that the C-Catamarans Technical Studio has developed based on Marc Lombard's project (an international signature of performing catamarans) is exciting and full of innovations.

As per C-Catamarans tradition, great importance has been given to performance which is represented by speed, extremely low fuel consumption (due to a hull with very low resistance) stability and interior comfort. There are in addition two large fish tanks with direct sea discharge for ice, if the boat is used for a fishing trip, or to stow all the accessories to make the cruise fun.

The large swim platform, in addition to being a liveable and fun space for swimming, can be closed on the transom, to make navigation in rough seas even safer.
The particularly spacious interiors are available in versions from 2 to 4 cabins with 2 bathrooms. Very pleasant is the solution of continuity between the cockpit and the dinette, divided only by a sliding door, which can be completely opened.

The cockpit is served by a rigid hard top designed to be completely closed through removable fabric or composite panels. This solution actually makes it possible to double the dinette while ensuring sufficient external space for manoeuvres. C-Catamarans C Cat 40 Powerfish has also harmonized the external shapes, and the flying bridge reachable from the stairs on the two side, with the needs of the interior spaces, obtaining an elegant and gritty multihull.
