One more award for “El Leon”, the best “Power Yacht Over 40 Metres”

The Mangusta Gransport “El Leon” was chosen as the best “Power Yacht Over 40 Metres” at the International Yacht & Aviation Awards 2019.

The International Yachts & Aviation Awards, organized by UK Publisher design et al, were hosted even this year in the magnificent setting of Venice. Three different macro-categories – designers, yachts and aircrafts –  compete for the prizes, which are awarded to the very best not only in terms of style and design, but also with regard to innovative solutions. A Jury of experts selected the finalists, but the winners were then chosen by the readers, making this victory even more significant, as a ‘seal’ on those capable of inspiring the public the most through their style and the appeal of truly unique design solutions.

This is the third international award won by the Mangusta GranSport 54  in less than a year since her debut on the market.

“El Leon” is the 54-metre model in the new generation of aluminium Fast Displacement yachts, the Mangusta GranSport line, designed by Alberto Mancini and engineered by the Overmarine Group with a view to allowing Owners to cruise long distances stylishly, in the utmost comfort, and – if one wishes to do so – at impressive speeds, too.

The new line combines Italian design, sporty features, outstanding performances, exclusive elegance, comfort, cutting-edge technology and uncompromised power. The state-of-the-art technological solutions implemented onboard these yachts enhance their unmistakable Mediterranean spirit, interpreting key-concepts like lifestyle and guests’ wellbeing. Another key feature is the ability to combine a very long range at cruising speed as well as spectacularly fast performances, always ensuring maximum onboard comfort – a perfect blend that can be summarized as “pure versatility”.

The 45-metre model will be launched shortly and officially presented at the forthcoming autumn boat shows, while a 33-metre version – which was introduced to the market a few months ago – is bound to be delivered in 2020.
