Mercury Marine and Saxdor Yachts have renewed their exclusive engine supply agreement for an additional five-year term, consolidating a collaboration that began six years ago, when the Finnish shipyard entered the market and selected Mercury as its sole supplier of outboard propulsion systems.

The agreement confirms the continuity of a partnership that has significantly supported Saxdor’s growth. Today the brand is recognised for its technical focus and its constant research into performance, efficiency and design. Mercury Marine outboards—known for reliability, efficiency and an effective power-to-weight ratio—have played a central role in developing the Saxdor range and strengthening its position in the high-performance leisure boat segment.

“We are pleased to continue our exclusive partnership with Saxdor,” said John Buelow, President of Mercury Marine. “In recent years we have achieved important results and brought high-quality products to the market. This new agreement reaffirms our shared commitment to quality, innovation and customer satisfaction.”

Under the renewed agreement, Mercury will continue to supply Saxdor with its latest generation of propulsion solutions, ensuring technological continuity and integration with the shipyard’s upcoming models. Mercury’s global service network also provides a competitive advantage for owners.

During the 2025 Cannes and Fort Lauderdale boat shows, Saxdor introduced the new 400GTS, an evolution of the 400 Series, also powered by Mercury. The model confirms the direction taken by the yard: contemporary lines, high performance and a strong industrial approach supported by a consolidated propulsion platform.

The renewal of the agreement reinforces a strategic collaboration that contributes to defining industry standards while strengthening the joint presence of both brands in key leisure-boating markets.
