Baglietto, a historic icon of Italian yachting excellence based in La Spezia specialized in the construction of luxury motor yachts, proudly announces the release of its first Sustainability Report, covering the year 2024.

Prepared on a voluntary basis and ahead of regulatory requirements, the report stands as a significant testament to the company’s commitment to sustainable, responsible, and transparent growth. It provides a comprehensive overview of Baglietto’s environmental, social, and governance (ESG) initiatives, while outlining its strategic goals for the years ahead.

The company has already adopted a Code of Ethics and holds certifications ISO 9001:2015,  ISO 45001:2018, and ISO 14001:2015.

“We believe that investing in sustainability is not only a moral obligation but also a strategic choice to ensure a better future for the next generations,” said Diego Michele Deprati, CEO of Baglietto. “This is why we continue to invest in research and development, embracing innovative solutions and low-impact production processes—such as the Bzero project, which includes the use of green hydrogen as part of the energy and propulsion system for yachts over 50 meters—while always keeping the well-being of people and communities at the heart of our mission.”

Key highlights from the report include:

-        The adoption of environmentally friendly technologies and materials in shipyard operations;

-        The implementation of corporate policies promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion;

-        Support for social initiatives and partnerships with charitable organizations, both locally and internationally;

-        The development of activities aimed at preserving the historical heritage of a company with over 170 years of history.

With this first Sustainability Report, Baglietto reaffirms its commitment to playing an active role in the transition toward a more equitable and resilient economy, contributing to the creation of shared value across the entire yachting supply chain.
